The Sturiër Dutchman 56 sets a new standard in its class. The striking combination of classic style and beautiful details creates a look that in the past was only reserved for much larger yachts. The boat is even grander than the Dutchman 52 and is unrivalled.
In the standard version the ship is already fully equipped and offers a lot of space. The Sturiër Dutchman 56 is equipped with two engines, three cabins, hydraulic power installation, bow thrusters, double glazing, underfloor heating in all interior spaces, indirect lighting, electric sunroof, washer / dryer, climate-controlled wine cellar, many visibly polished stainless steel and state of the art navigation.
The round bilge hull of the CE A certified Sturiër Dutchman 56 ensures pleasant handling at sea and is very economical due to its streamlined hull shape.
The hydraulically folding mast gives the ship a vertical clearance of 3.50 metres.
The huge cockpit is the place for the perfect outdoor living area with family and friends. The plentiful seating in the cockpit is very comfortable and also serves as storage space.
The large watertight hatch in the cockpit floor provides access to the storage room. The storage in the stern is very generously proportioned and easily accessible. There is ample space for bicycles, tender, surfboard, chairs and other items to bring on board plus a Williams Jet Tender of 2.8 m can be safely locked away in the garage below decks.
The engine is easily accessible from the storage space through a solid steel, watertight door. There is also sufficient headroom to be able to move through the engine room to gain good access throughout .
The 2x 200 hp John Deere engines are both equipped with hydraulic pumps. This makes it possible to sail on one engine alone. The engines are in a closed steel environment that has been treated with a special material. Only a minimum of noise and vibration is noticeable, which increases the cruising comfort. The 4500 L fuel capacity gives Sturiër Dutchman 56 long range capabilities.
The wheelhouse saloon is integral with the cockpit. Throughout the entire ship care has been taken to have as few steps up or down as possible. By allowing plenty of daylight, using mostly dimmable spotlights and indirect lighting, a special atmosphere can be created for your entire stay on board. The quality of the interior panelling and the high-spec finish shown in the entire ship reflects the workmanship and refinement of the Sturier yachtbuilders. Joinery mostly carried out in specially selected teak underlines the ship’s noble maritime character.
From the cockpit you enter the large living room with lovely seating on both sides. On the port side is a large comfortable sofa. Opposite this is the spacious lounge-sofa and a large, electrically-controlled coffee table that can be easily converted into a dining table.
Further forward in the wheelhouse is the comfortable steering seat with an impressive helm. Numerous cupboards and large drawers offer plenty of practical storage space. As it should be on a superyacht like the Sturiër Dutchman 56 the on-board electronics are easy to operate via the control panel on the beautiful dashboard.
In the front of the ship on the port side, just a few steps down, is the beautiful, large galley. Sleek, yet it oozes a homely atmosphere. Opposite the galley is the dining area with a large sofa and a teak dining table.
Luxurious owner and guest cabins
The owner’s cabin is a cosy lounge area
A few steps down, under the saloon , we come into the surprisingly large owner’s cabin, illuminated with lots of natural light.
It is a cozy lounge area with a large double bed and lots of wardrobe space. Natural light comes in from both sides through the windows, which offer views right over the water. Indirect LED lighting and dimmable spotlights provide the perfect atmosphere in this area. The beautiful, large bathroom is finished in shiny white corian with beautiful integrated sinks.

Adjacent to the owner’s cabin, there is a guest cabin with 2 bunkbeds on the starboard side. This cabin can also be designed as a wonderful walk-in closet. The washer/dryer is also installed in this cabin.
